An SDS's inventory records and activities are built primarily on transactions undergone by the SDS's product. In Comply Plus, transactions are records of inventory activity (such as receipts, usages, and measurements) that occurred on specific dates or over specific time periods. As transactions record when and where product quantities are added, moved around, and used up, this builds both a history of these transactions and an up-to-date resource showing exactly how much of the product can be found at which locations.

You can enter transactions directly for an SDS to track broad quantities of its product. You can also enter transactions for lots containing the SDS's product to track individual containers of product. The topics in this section primarily relate to tracking broad quantities of product. For details on lots and entering transactions for them, see Lot Transactions.

See the following topics for details on viewing and working with an SDS's transactions and their related data.

SDS Transactions: View the history of transactions entered for an SDS's product and its current inventory levels. With the required permissions, you can enter new transactions.

SDS Conversion Factors: When an SDS's product is commonly measured in product-specific units of measure, view or enter the conversion factors needed to convert those units into more widely used units.

SDS Lot Inventory: View a detailed list of all lots that contain the SDS's product.

SDS Inventory Limits: View any inventory thresholds defined for the SDS's product to keep its quantities and activities within certain limits.
